The UGA Honors Summer Interdisciplinary Field Program (IFP) operated out of the department of geology is now in its 29th year. The UGA Percussion Ensemble will perform its spring concert. The group has performed extensively throughout the Southeast, including numerous appearances at the Georgia Music Educator's Association state conventions and appearances at various "Day of Percussion" programs, under the leadership of co-directors Timothy Adams, Jr., and Kimberly Toscano Adams.

The UGA Steel Pan Ensemble will perform its spring concert. The University of Georgia Steel Band serves as a popular ambassador to the Athens music community and the public at large. Made up of traditional steel pans from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the Steel Band is accompanied by electric bass, congas, drumset, and auxiliary percussion.
