Franklin faculty research on podcasts

The platform you can take with you, that so many people enjoy, is also very useful for learning about leading researchers and research topics of wide interest.

New episodes of two podcasts each feature Franklin College faculty discussing their work, shedding light, and sharing their expertise.

In a new episode of People, Parasites, & Plagues, the jhosts interview Dr. Xiaorong Lin, a distinguished professor of medical mycology at the University of Georgia's Department of Microbiology. Dr. Lin explains some of the issues with the way that we fight fungal infections, common misconceptions, and even the HBO hit show "The Last of Us."

And Holly Bik, associate professor in the department of marine sciences, talks abouther work on Nematodes for the Ologies podcast, one of the top Science podcasts across all platforms:

Weird little mouths! Hairy skin tubes! Demon nematodes! Antarctic explorer and Nematologist Dr. Holly Bik charms us into loving deep sea (benthopelagic) worms in a way you never thought possible.
