All along, Beaver's ultimate goal was to get a college degree, but the military was its own sort of education.

The mural is terrific, but Beavers' inspiring determination, talent and experience provide great perspective on our current society. That UGA plays such a big part in her dreams and goals humbles and honors every aspiration we have about what the flagship public university is all about. Great story about an inspiring student pursing her dream.
